Commercial Fitouts

JB Joinery delivers high-quality commercial joinery solutions for office spaces, public areas, and workplace interiors. We manage every stage of production in-house to ensure consistency, quality control, and timely delivery. Whether it's a single-site project or a national fit-out rollout, we support commercial clients with confidence and experience.

WHAT ARE Commercial Fitouts

Commercial fitouts involve the manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery for business interiors. These include workspaces, front-of-house areas, shared amenities, and staff environments. JB Joinery works alongside main contractors to deliver joinery packages that meet budget, programme, and specification requirements for private and public sector builds.

Reception Desks & Counters

As the first point of contact in most commercial settings, reception joinery must reflect brand, function, and durability. JB Joinery produces custom-built reception counters with detailed finishes and robust construction. Whether for a government lobby or retail entry, we manufacture high-quality reception desks NZ clients trust to perform in busy environments.

Staff Amenities & Kitchens

We manufacture custom kitchens and shared facilities that support staff needs without compromising design. Our team manages the complete kitchen cabinetry, benchtops, and storage joinery package. Every element is built to last, with materials selected for wear resistance and easy maintenance.

Wall Panelling & Acoustic Features

Wall panelling creates cohesion across interior spaces, adds warmth, and supports acoustic control in open-plan environments. We manufacture timber panelling in-house, managing staining, painting, and finishing to meet detailed project specs. We offer solutions for project teams researching half wall panelling ideas that balance function, texture, and architectural intent.

Why Choose Joinery for Commercial Fitouts?

Commercial fitouts require control over materials, timelines, and coordination. JB Joinery removes common delivery risks by handling all manufacturing and finishing in-house. This allows for better alignment with construction programmes and fewer delays caused by external suppliers. Our team has the scale to handle large rollouts and the flexibility to respond to changes on-site. Our internal capability becomes a key advantage for commercial builds with tight deadlines and multiple trades involved.

faqs

The right benchtop depends on the environment and how it will be used. We work with stone, stainless steel, acrylic, HPL, and timber to suit design and durability needs. We’re happy to recommend options once project specifications are confirmed.

Yes, we can match veneer joinery to flooring or other timber elements. Our in-house team takes care to align grain, tone, and finish across surfaces for a cohesive final look.

We recommend hardwoods and other timbers that handle moisture and weather well, such as cedar or accoya. We’ll guide you based on your location, finish preference, and performance requirements.

Samples can be reviewed at our Christchurch premises. Once we’ve reviewed your plans or quote request, we can provide guidance on what to view and compare.

We support design detailing after a quote has been accepted. While we are not a design service, we work closely with clients/architects and contractors to finalise specifications and material selections.

Project timelines are defined once a quote is accepted. We work with clients to plan around construction programmes, school breaks, or staged rollouts as needed.
